Family and Friends are best at the table…. And in the kitchen….And around the campfire. We have the setting for you to connect and enjoy the people you are celebrating. Different areas of the home allow for intimate conversation and for enjoyment of the outside and games.
The 4 bedroom home is decorated in muted tones and cleared of clutter to allow for you to move about or enjoy young ones without worry. The upstairs is accessible by stairs and this can be closed off with the door if needed.
The kitchen is stocked with essentials for cooking, baking and enjoyment. There is a double wall oven, gas stove top, microwave and full size refrigerator. Food is so good. The bed mattresses are encased for cleanliness and have toppers for comfort. The sheets are Comphy brand cotton premium sheets with hotel pillows. Sleep is so important. Smart tvs are placed in living room, 3 of the bedrooms and the game room in the garage. Speakers to blue tooth and pool table and couches fill the game room. Entertainment is so fun.
Outdoor Indiana!
The property of this home is 5 acres mowed yard. A fire pit with plenty of firewood, tiki torches, chairs and picnic table for entertaining. Lawn games, basketball goal and pool table in the garage turned into game room to spend some energy. The garage doors up when temperatures allow is even more fun. The screened in porch is great for coffee in the morning with propane heater and bird feeders just outside. Bicycles for different ages are in the garage and make the trip to Rockville town square (.5 mile) fun.
The area has 3 state parks including Turkey Run (9.8 miles), Shades (23 miles), and Raccoon Lake 9.4 miles). Locally Waveland Lake (21 miles) and Rockville Lake (2.3 miles) offer swimming and fishing.
Rockville Town has many shops, antique shops, coffee shop and the 36 Saloon. There are multiple Amish stores and grocery in the county (closed Sundays). Maps for Amish and Covered Bridges (our claim to fame) are available at the house.
